Sarah is the Stranding Coordinator for the Noyo Center for Marine Science and California Academy of Science and responds to reports of stranded Marine Mammals along the Mendocino Coast for the West Coast Marine Mammal Stranding Network. Sarah has lived on the Mendo Coast for over 50 years, studied Marine Science at College of the Redwoods, and has an intimate understanding of the marine mammals of the coastal waters. She will accompany many of our trips in all three categories.

Tim has lived in Albion for 25 years and is an avid birder, fisherman, and marine enthusiast, and currently President of the Mendocino Coast Audubon Society. He also co-hosts two programs on local public radio station KZYX: The Ecology Hour with co-host Dr. Robert Spies, interviewing scientists about their research; and Oak & Thorn, two hours of Celtic music on Sunday mornings. Tim will be accompanying most or all of our full-day and half-day trips.

Peter is an ornithologist and marine biologists who worked on the Farallon Islands off San Francisco for 24 years and has spent over 100 days at sea off California on pelagic trips and ocean surveys.
